Patient Update

Due to the rising cases of COVID and a few patients still attending face to face appointments with fevers and coughs, we have started texting patients to triage them before they attend the surgery.

If you have a face to face appointment and have not opted out of text messaging contact with us, we will text you on the day of your appointment to check your symptoms and any recent travel to red countries. If you have a smartphone please respond to the text and we will see you at your appointment.

If you respond with any symptoms we may either convert your appointment to a telephone call or call you to rearrange.

For those patients who we do not have a mobile number for or who have opted out, we will try and call you on your landline. If you have already spoken to the GP, Nurse or receptionist that day we won’t need to contact you again as they will already have triaged you.
