Practices in conjunction with the local vaccination hubs, have started using a new digital booking system called Accubook which is run by a company called Accurx. This will save patients having to telephone the call centre or practice when phone lines are busy.
When you are eligible for your COVID vaccination you will receive a text message with a link to invite you to book your vaccination. Please be assured that this is a genuine message from the practice. You will also receive a text to book in for your second dose.
Your text message will look like this:
Dear Mrs TEST,
You have been invited to book your
COVID-19 vaccinations.
Please click the link to book your vaccination times: accurx.thirdparty.nhs.uk/r/gjdnfhfrtf
If you do not have a registered telephone number the practice will contact you via letter to invite you to book your vaccination.
If you are not confident the practice has your up to date mobile number please update this on the website. You can do this by clicking on the home page then Administration Office. There is a button for Change Personal Details.
