Within our Primary Care Network we have access to an Adult Neurodivergence Practitioner. Appointments with this service are aimed at adults and may be over the phone or in person.
The service is aimed at patients awaiting a diagnosis of ADHD or ASD, or who have been diagnosed and would like help with coping strategies and managing symptoms.
Access to support from Occupational Therapists, pharmacists and mental health nurses can be provided if required.
Similar to our GP surgery, the service can not diagnose patients with ADHD/ASD or prescribe medication. Patients who want to explore a diagnosis can be referred by a GP to a Right to Choose service.
