Timescales for processing prescription requests

Our reception team member has to check your medical records to ensure that your medication request is on your repeat prescription list, then pass it to your clinical team. Between clinics, one of our clinical team will double check the medication to ensure that it is still appropriate for you.  Once complete, one of our reception team will file your prescription ready for collection unless it is an electronic prescription request, in which case it will go direct to your nominated pharmacy.

Delays may occur if your medication request is not on your repeat prescription or if your medication request is different from what your doctor has prescribed for you or if your doctor wished to change your medication.
